Hyperscale Data has made its first Bitcoin sale, monetizing approximately 100 BTC, and secured a Bitcoin-backed credit facility as it shifts part of its crypto treasury toward financing its Michigan AI data center campus, according to a Thursday press release.

Hyperscale Data first adopted its Bitcoin treasury strategy in September 2025. Following the inaugural sale, the company still holds 1,006 Bitcoin worth about $65 million.

The company said the move reflects a capital allocation strategy aimed at accelerating construction, funding long-lead equipment purchases and lowering reliance on equity financing while preserving a substantial portion of its Bitcoin reserves.

The AI campus will initially support a 20 MW deployment under a previously announced master services agreement with a neo-cloud AI infrastructure provider, with the contract expected to generate more than $1.2 billion in revenue over its initial term.

The customer also holds an option to expand by another 32 MW, which could lift total contract revenue above $3 billion over the maximum contract period.
