Tension mounted in the forests of the Kannapuram range in Jangareddygudem revenue division of Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh after a tiger killed two cows in the early hours of Thursday (July 30, 2026).Forest officials sounded an alert in the Koyyalagudem and Buttaigudem forests and began tracking the animal.“The tiger killed the two cows in the forests near Mangapathidevipeta village in Koyyalagudem. An alert has been sounded in the range,” said Kannapuram Forest Range Officer (FRO) V. Bhanu Prakash.
