A day after his arrest, freedom fighter and former Awami League Presidium member Abdul Latif Siddique has been produced before the International Crimes Tribunal.
He was brought to the tribunal in a microbus by the police detectives on Thursday afternoon.
His younger brother, Krishak Sramik Janata League President Kader Siddique, was also seen at the court.
Latif is scheduled to be produced before Tribunal-2 headed by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury following his arrested in connection with the Shapla Chattar case on charges of murder and crimes against humanity.
Former minister Latif is suspect No. 10 on the list of the accused. The Detective Branch announced his arrest from Dhaka’s Gulshan on Wednesday evening.
