WhistlinDiesel’s Tesla Cybertruck vs Ford F-150 durability test ends with a dramatic 179km/h crash.

YouTube personality Cody Detwiler, better known as WhistlinDiesel, has built a huge following by subjecting some of the world’s most expensive and capable vehicles to extreme durability tests.

His latest series of “torture” tests involves two American pick-up trucks: the best-selling Ford F-150 and Tesla’s controversial battery-powered, stainless steel-bodied Cybertruck.

After a series of durability tests, in which the Tesla did not always perform as expected, Detwiler decided to put the two vehicles through an unconventional crash test at around 180km/h.

Granted, it was not a conventional crash test, where an offset head-on collision would normally be used, nor did it feature the professional crash-testing equipment typically associated with such assessments. Instead, crash test dummies were amusingly replaced with plastic dolls strapped to the dashboard.
