Former SAPS Special Task Force member Matipandile Sotheni is due back in the dock at the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with the murder of Madlanga Commission witness D, Marius “Vlam” van der Merwe.
Sotheni, who was denied bail last month, is facing a murder charge following Van der Merwe’s killing.
Van der Merwe, known as Witness D in the Madlanga Commission, was a key witness in the inquiry.
The case was postponed to Thursday, July 30, to allow for further investigations.
