Two children and four adults were killed after a Russian missile struck a private home in a suburb of Kryvyi Rih, while eight other people were injured.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul announced this on Telegram.

"In a village in the suburbs of Kryvyi Rih, a direct hit by an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Voronezh destroyed a private house where a large family lived. Two girls, aged 5 and 12, and four adults were killed. Eight people were injured, including two children – boys aged 6 and 15," the statement said.

The emergency rescue operation is still underway, with crews continuing to clear the rubble. According to Vilkul, the death toll may rise.

All those injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
