Former Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov believes that one of the reasons for his dismissal was resistance to his reforms within the Ministry of Defence, particularly changes to procurement and tender procedures that affected the interests of many individuals and companies.

Judging by what began happening in the public sphere – certain pressure, certain law enforcement agencies focusing on our work – it became clear from around the beginning of April that tensions were rising and that it would eventually lead to something.
