Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected armed robbery suspect and recovered a locally fabricated pistol alongside assorted charms during a routine patrol in the Igando area of Lagos State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday.
The PPRO noted that the arrest was part of the command’s sustained efforts against crime and criminality across the state.
According to the statement, the arrest followed the interception of a motorcycle carrying three male occupants whose conduct aroused the suspicion of a police patrol team.
