Junior Springbok centre Markus Muller, who was part of the Bok training squad earlier this year, will make his Currie Cup debut for the Stormers XXIII on Saturday.

The Stormers XXIII and Sharks XV have bolstered their squads with Junior Springbok world champions for their Currie Cup clash in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.

Backs Markus Muller, who slots into the starting line-up for a home debut, and Luan Giliomee, who starts at fullback for the visitors, are expected to add a winning mentality to their respective teams alongside the other U20 champions selected on the bench for the clash at DHL Stadium.

Muller and Giliomee starred for the Junior Boks and should provide an attacking spark for their teams. Both the Stormers and Sharks come into the match off defeats after opening their campaigns with victories, and the boost provided by their U20 stars could prove pivotal.

While the Stormers have selected just one U20 player, prop Danie Kruger, among the replacements, the Sharks have drafted in three Baby Boks to strengthen their bench, with hooker Liam van Wyk, loosehead prop Rambo Kubheka and speedster Khuthi Rasivhaga set to make an impact as substitutes.
