OneDosh has successfully concluded the maiden edition of the OneDosh Imo State Unity Cup, a youth-focused football tournament created to unite students across tertiary institutions in Imo State while strengthening the company’s commitment to youth empowerment, community engagement, and financial inclusion.

Held throughout July and culminating in a grand finale at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, the tournament brought together students from eight tertiary institutions across the state in what became more than just a football competition. It created a platform for connection, healthy rivalry, talent showcase, and meaningful engagement with thousands of young people.

As title sponsor, OneDosh used the tournament to engage students beyond the pitch through interactive activations, branded experiences, merchandise, and opportunities to learn more about the platform and its products. Students also participated in social media challenges, created user-generated content, and interacted directly with the OneDosh team throughout the competition.

The tournament concluded with Imo State University (IMSU) emerging champions after defeating Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education 3–2 in a thrilling final, while the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) secured third place. The grand finale attracted thousands of spectators and crowned weeks of competitive football, student participation, and community engagement.
