Pakistani data center operator Sky47 has inaugurated an 8.5MW data center in Islamabad.
This is roughly half a year later than the estimate provided by Sky47’s parent company Mari Energies, which projected completion by the end of 2025.

Karakoram-01, named after the nearby mountain range, is located in Capital Smart City Islamabad, a planned residential and commercial development near the country’s capital city.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were both present at the data center's inauguration on Friday, July 24.
