ReaDaSoul's latest EP, "Head Above Water", is a deeply personal exploration of healing, resilience and self discovery.

"'Head Above Water’ isn't about pretending to have all the answers. It's about acknowledging that life can be overwhelming but choosing to keep going anyway."

That is the heart of ReaDaSoul's latest EP, a deeply personal project that explores healing, resilience and finding your way back to yourself.

The producer and DJ uses the opening track, “Buyelekhaya”, to introduce listeners to the emotional world of the project. While the title translates to "return home", he said that the journey is not about a physical place.

"The title itself speaks about returning home, but not necessarily to a physical place. It is more about returning to a place of honesty, healing and belonging. Before taking listeners through the highs and lows of the EP, I wanted to begin with something that immediately invites them into that vulnerable space."
