The Ethereum Foundation announced on July 29 that it has appointed pcaversaccio, a longtime Ethereum contributor and privacy advocate, to its board of directors.
Pcaversaccio is best known in Ethereum circles for contributions that sit at the intersection of developer tooling, security, and privacy. He contributed to the Create2Deployer tool, published on July 16, and previously provided input on the EF’s treasury policy established in June 2025.
His security credentials run deep. He co-founded SEAL 911, an emergency security response initiative designed to provide rapid-fire assistance when protocols get exploited.
Beyond the technical work, pcaversaccio is a member of the Silviculture Society and authored the Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto, a document that articulates a vision of Ethereum rooted in the original cypherpunk ethos of privacy, individual sovereignty, and resistance to surveillance.
A foundation in flux
