A Canadian politician from New Brunswick has gone viral after accidentally reading AI-generated instructions aloud during an official speech.
In a clip seen by TNX Africa, Progressive Conservative MLA Bill Oliver addressed the legislature but began reading from his notes with the line, "Here's a more natural flowing version of that section that reads like a legislative speech rather than a series of short points."
Many generative AI tools include editing suggestions and prompts to help users refine their text.
It appears Oliver mistakenly left those instructions in his speech and read them aloud.
