Supreme Court nears full strength with 5 new judges
The Supreme Court is set to have 37 judges after the appointment of five new judges on June 1. The appointments come days after the government increased the sanctioned strength of the apex court to 38, amid concerns over a growing backlog of more than 92,000 pending cases.
