A chance encounter at a petrol station has transformed the lives of two hardworking brothers after South African philanthropist and anonymous social media content creator Bi Phakathi surprised them with an act of kindness that snowballed into life-changing support.
Known for helping strangers in need before revealing his generosity, Phakathi was joined by Reward the Kind founder Logan Mayberry when they met the brothers, who had stopped at a petrol station after a long day's work.
The men had spent the day toiling to provide for their families, but they had no money left to fill their vehicle with the fuel they needed to get home.
Before offering help, Phakathi put the brothers to the test in his trademark style.
