MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit a residential area in Tondo, Manila, early Wednesday, the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) reported.
According to the DRRM in a Facebook post, the fire occurred at 4:09 a.m. at Dagupan Extension, Brgy. 185, Gagalangin, in Tondo. The first alarm, which indicates the level of danger of the situation, was raised a few minutes later at 4:11 a.m.
The blaze instantly reached the second alarm at 4:12 a.m. The third alarm was raised at 4:47 a.m. before the fire was declared under control at 5:13 a.m.
