MANILA, Philippines — Lawyer Benjamin Tolosa Jr., one of the prosecutors in Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, clarified on Wednesday that the proposal to change the order of evidence presentation came from the Senate Impeachment Court.
Tolosa made the statement after Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian earlier revealed that Duterte’s defense team rejected the proposed alternate presentation of evidence per article.
