The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) repelled 226 combat clashes across the front line over a 24-hour period ending at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28. Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka axes see heaviest fighting Russian armed forces launched 29 strikes on the Pokrovsk axis, attempting to advance near Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and Novooleksandrivka, among other settlements, with two clashes ongoing at the time of the report. On the Kostiantynivka axis, the AFU repelled 27 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Stepanivka, with three clashes ongoing at the moment of the report. The General Staff said the AFU killed 32 Russian soldiers and wounded nine others on the Pokrovsk axis alone, while destroying 27 personnel shelters, a unit of special equipment, and a fuel depot. Ukrainian troops also damaged six artillery systems, three drone control points, and 161 enemy personnel shelters, while destroying or suppressing 296 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various types in the same axis.
