Kannin Osei-Tutu, MD, MSc, CCFP, FCFP, C.Dir is the inaugural Senior Associate Dean for Health Equity and Systems Transformation at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, and a practicing hospitalist at Foothills Medical Centre. He is the director of the HEST Innovation Lab. He is past Chair of the CanRAC Accreditation Working Group on Anti-Black Racism in PGME, past Co-Chair of the CanMEDS 2025 Anti-Racism Working Group, and a current member of the CanMEDS Project Steering Committee. He serves on the CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research Advisory Board, and is the inaugural Chair of the Association of Faculties of Medicine Committee on Black Health Innovation and Advancement (CoBHIA). He is the founder of the Black Physicians Association of Alberta.
