As human-AI interaction becomes an increasingly common part of workflows across industries, USC computer science researchers are studying how humans and AI interact to maximize creative and critical thinking.

USC’s Souti (Rini) Chattopadhyay aims to advance a model of augmentation by redesigning how humans interact with AI-powered agentic systems to enhance a person’s capacity for creativity and critical thinking through a new research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
