PACCAR (NASDAQ:PCAR) reported its second-quarter financial results on Tuesday, posting quarterly earnings of $1.43 per share.

The result beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.35 per share and represented an increase from earnings of $1.37 per share recorded in the same period last year.

Quarterly Revenue And Cash Position The company reported quarterly sales of $6.997 billion, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $7.264 billion.

However, revenues increased compared to sales of $6.962 billion reported in the same period last year.

PACCAR reported cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period on June 30 of $5.575 billion.
