SaaS major Freshworks has announced the appointment of Ryan Manning as the company’s Chief Product and Technology Officer.With the appointment, the US-based company has unified its product and technology strategy under one executive. Manning will report directly to Freshworks’ CEO Dennis Woodside.He will replace the company’s erstwhile Chief Product Officer Srinivasan Raghavan. Murali Swaminathan will continue as the company’s Chief Technology Officer, reporting to Manning.In this role, Manning will set product and technology strategy across Freshworks’ AI, IT and customer experience products, the company said in a media release.Manning was previously the Chief Product Officer at BMC Helix. He has also held leadership roles in other startups and global software companies like ServiceNow while also co-founding FreeAgent CRM, now Servis.ai.Manning also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from San Diego State University. He will be based at Freshworks’ San Mateo headquarters.“Ryan has the unique ability to quickly turn what customers need into products that win in the market.
