July 28 (UPI) -- True Blood and The Gifted alum Stephen Moyer is returning for more Art Detectives on Acorn TV.
A two-part special is to air this December, followed by a six-episode season of the crime drama in 2027.
Production on the new episodes is to begin this summer in Northern Ireland.
The show casts Moyer and Virdee actress Nina Singh as police detectives for the Heritage Crime Unit, who solve murders connected to art and antiques.
