Three of the other Spice Girls were present at the celebration with only Victoria Beckham missing from the occasion.‌Melanie, full name Melanie Chisholm, married Australian model and actor Chris Dingwall after meeting on celeb dating app Raya.‌They said their vows in the Lake District on July 18 with Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown all present.‌Victoria was missing from the occasion, however, as she was committed to watching the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina in New York with her husband, Sir David Beckham.Posh Spice wasn't completely absent from the event though - she designed Melanie's dress, a backless satin and lace wedding gown.‌The newlywed told Closer how proud she is of Victoria, adding; "She's amazing, we're so proud of everything she's achieved beyond being a Spice Girl."The Spice Girls last reunited for a 13-date UK tour in 2019 with Victoria again conspicuous by her absence.The former band were catapulted to fame after their debut single, Wannabe, became a mega hit in 1996.‌They only released 10 singles before splitting in December 2000, but incredibly all but one reached number one in the UK charts, with 'Stop' having to settle for number two.Speaking about a potential reunion, Melanie told Closer: "I think one song isn't enough, I wouldn't be satisfied with that. We're constantly talking."Making the (Wannabe) anniversary, we could see the fans posting across social media and it's like, 'you don't need to convince me, I'm here, I'm ready, I'm waiting'."‌Melanie previously said that the 30th anniversary of the band's first single was "a very emotional day".Wannabe became one of the defining tracks of the 1990s, selling more than eight million copies worldwide, while it also launched the band's Girl Power agenda.‌She said: "We knew exactly what we wanted to achieve but nobody imagined the scale (of what) we went on to do."We went out, we conquered the world. We were told that we couldn't, and we wouldn't. But we did."The singer was speaking at the Nordoff And Robbins Silver Clef Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, where she was honoured with the global impact award.‌Fans are always keen for the Spice Girls to reunited as a five-piece but Melanie C has always been supportive of Victoria's decision to step away from performing.Posh Spice last joined the group on stage at the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony in London.She about the experience with Entertainment Tonight, Mel said: "I think it was too much for her (Victoria).
