Spice Girls icon Melanie C tied the knot to her partner Chris Dingwall at the weekend in a gorgeous wedding ceremony in Cumbria.The Mirror exclusively revealed that the secret ceremony was set to take place, and images have now been released showing that Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Horner, were all there to celebrate their bandmate's special day.Victoria Beckham was absent for the festivities, but certainly there in spirit as she was the designer of Melanie's gown, as gorgeous images of the day revealed the intricate work.But that wasn't Melanie's only look, with the star opting for a custom Adidas tracksuit for the latter part of her reception in an unusual but iconic tribute to her Sporty Spice days.‌Images from the star revealed the beautiful details of the day as she married for the very first time and celebrated in the countryside.While Victoria Beckham may have been absent for the day, she was certainly there in spirit as she was the designer of Melanie's gown, as gorgeous images of the day revealed the intricate work.Victoria told Vogue of the look: “Melanie is quite minimalist and didn’t want anything too fussy, conceptual or overly complicated – this is all very aligned with what I do.”‌The lace pattern was designed from two different lace patterns that were then placed and hand-stitched onto the satin slip to create a unique design.Melanie revealed that she has always been a huge fan of Posh's label and it was an emotional experience with her daughter present at the fitting with them both.“Victoria was so excited about being able to do this for me, and having her and Scarlet there… every step of the way has been very special,” Melanie said of the fitting experience. “Plus, I just love her clothes.”‌And that wasn't Melanie's only dramatic look, with the star opting for a custom Adidas tracksuit for the latter part of her reception.While Victoria was away in America watching the World Cup final with David, fellow Spice Girls Melanie B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton were all there in person and were delighted for their bandmate.‌"All the girls are thrilled for her….they are all so excited. Mel B tied the knot with husband number three, Rory McPhee, last year, while Victoria married David Beckham in 1999.Mel C has a daughter, Scarlett, with property developer Thomas Starr, who was her partner for 10 years before they split in 2012. She also had a seven-year relationship with her former manager Joe Marshall, which ended in 2022.‌Melanie and Australian model and screenwriter Chris went public with their romance in 2024 after matching on celebrity dating app Raya.Speaking about how they met, she said: "Nobody knows this but we actually met on Raya ... Yeah, it can work people! I don’t know how much I should divulge. I was in a relationship previously and you know sometimes you get to the end of a relationship and first of all, you’re like: 'I never want to meet anyone ever again and that’s it."Melanie had previously said how she and Chris got on so well as they shared "similar personalities and lifestyles".‌The singer said that she hadn’t expected to tie the knot. But the private couple kept various images out of the spotlight.The singer has kept her daughter out of the limelight for several years, and has previously revealed how delighted she is that her child has chosen not to pursue fame or singing as a career.In another personal touch from Melanie, the Georgian home where the couple tied the knot, with the stunning stained glass window is owned by West End performer Ben Forster, who is a close friend of Melanie's since they first met co-starring in the 2013 production of Jesus Christ Superstar.‌After the reception meal, Melanie switched it up with a look that seemed to pay homage to her Sporty Spice roots.The singer changed into a custom Adidas look — an elevated interpretation of a tracksuit, with high-waisted, wide-legged trousers and a cropped jacket featuring a peaked lapel and deep ribbed waistband. This look was again made from ivory silk with white silk stripes, worn with custom Superstar trainers.Melanie also wore a custom Adidas robe to get ready for the ceremony, made from ivory silk with white silk stripes.The look was completed with custom white and gold sliders featuring the wedding date in gold on the side, as a romantic tribute to her new beau.‌
