Two men from Evaton will spend the rest of their lives behind bars after the Sebokeng Regional Court convicted them of three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Two men from Evaton in Gauteng have been sentenced to life imprisonment after they were convicted of murdering three men and attempting to murder a fourth man during a violent attack in February 2023.
Patrick Mphindeli Mkhwanazi, 39, and William Mbuyiswa, 29, were sentenced in the Sebokeng Regional Court.
In addition to life imprisonment, the men also received 15 years for the attempted murder charge.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) regional spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said the incident occurred in the early hours of February 22, 2023.
