Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak have been crowned the 2026 Love Island winners.The couple beat fellow islanders Kavan Murphy (21) and Jasmine Muller (27), who placed second on the ITV reality dating show, with Simba Kudyiwa (24) and Angelista Gunda (24) coming third.Along with winning the title, the pair won a £50,000 (€58,482) prize which they will share equally.Alessi appeared shocked at the news – and delighted, as he could not stop laughing, saying: “What the hell?”Majchrzak told presenter Maya Jama: “I would just love to say thank you to everyone.“I didn’t think that coming into Casa, I would be stood here. It’s crazy.”When asked what they will spend the money on, she added: “I want him to move in with me.”Earlier on in the final, Yasmin Hadlow and Tommy Stagg became the last couple to be dumped from Love Island by fellow contestants Mica Harris and Samraj Toor. - PA
