SSI was founded in 2024 by Ilya Sutskever, Daniel Gross and Daniel Levy.
Nvidia is joining forces with Safe Superintelligence (SSI) in a long-term strategic partnership to help the AI company in its growth plans. The chipmaking giant is reportedly also investing $5bn into the Ilya Sutskever-led company.
This substantial investment combined with access to Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform is expected to help SSI to scale its compute to ten-times its current capacity.
The two will also collaborate to advance Nvidia’s current and future compute platforms, the companies said in a joint statement on Monday (27 July).
