The March and March movement has announced that it has suspended its working relationship with controversial former Ukhozi FM presenter and anti-migrant activist Ngizwe Mchunu, pending the outcome of further investigations.
“We can’t march forever,” says controversial former Ukhozi FM presenter and anti-migrant activist Ngizwe Mchunu as he hits back at the March and March movement after it suspended its working relationship with him pending an internal investigation.
The movement said it had decided to cut ties with Mchunu after its leadership found evidence of alleged interference aimed at weakening the organisation.
The decision was announced in a media statement on Monday following an ordinary National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on July 25, to discuss a range of organisational matters.
The development comes weeks after the movement's nationwide protest on June 30, during which it called on undocumented foreign nationals to leave South Africa.
