Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 107 of the 131 drones launched by Russian forces during the night of July 28, while impacts were recorded at nine locations.

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Beginning at 18:00 on July 27, Russia launched 131 attack UAVs, including Shahed loitering munitions (some jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Bryansk, Kursk, and Oryol in Russia, as well as Donetsk and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems forces, and mobile fire groups.

According to preliminary data available as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defenses shot down or electronically suppressed 107 enemy drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other UAV types, across the country's north, south, center, and east.
