There is a severe weather warning for parts of KZN.
South Africans can expect cool winter weather with cloudy conditions and scattered coastal showers on Tuesday, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
SAWS says partly cloudy and cool conditions will prevail over the central and eastern parts of the country, while the east and south coasts are expected to remain cloudy, with isolated to scattered rain and showers.
The forecast follows a spell of windy and cold weather over the southern parts of the country, with a Yellow Level 1 warning for damaging winds and waves remaining in place for the south-west coast of the Western Cape until Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) said disaster management teams across the province have been placed on high alert following updated SAWS warnings for severe weather.
