MANILA, Philippines — Following is the transcript of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s fifth State of the Nation Address, which he delivered on Monday, July 27, 2026:
Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian and honorable members of the Senate, House Speaker Faustino D. III and honorable members of the House of Representatives, Chief Justice Alexander Guismundo and honorable justices of the Supreme Court, His Excellency the Most Reverend Charles John Brown and esteemed members of the diplomatic corps, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and honorable members of the Cabinet, first lady Louise Araneta Marcos, other distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon.
Mga kababayan ko, naririto ako muli upang tuparin ang ating katungkulan at magbigay ng ulat sa inyo tungkol sa estado ng ating bansa at sa mga ginagawa ng inyong pamahalaan.
Isang taon na ang nakalipas mula noong huli akong tumayo rito upang ilantad ang katiwalian na nadiskubre namin sa mga flood control project. Gaya ng aking ipinangako sa inyo, nagsagawa tayo ng malawakan at malalimang imbestigasyon na walang pagkikiling kahit kanino man. Masusi nating sinuri at sinundan kung saan tayo itinuro ng ebidensya.
