The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has codified and approved the Inguar-4 armored recovery vehicle for use by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The vehicle is designed to rapidly evacuate most specialized armored vehicles of Ukrainian and foreign manufacture from the battlefield.
The ministry said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.
The Inguar-4 armored repair and recovery vehicle (ARRV) was developed by a Ukrainian company specializing in the production of armored vehicles for a wide range of military missions.
It uses the same components and assemblies as the Inguar-3 specialized armored vehicle, which has demonstrated high performance in military missions for several years. However, the Inguar-4 features a reinforced frame, an additional driven axle, a powerful winch, and a hydraulic system for lifting and evacuation.
According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, during testing, the Inguar-4 confirmed its stated tactical and technical specifications and demonstrated strong capabilities for recovering armored vehicles under challenging combat conditions.
