DU has extended the deadline for candidates allotted second round to July 29.
Delhi University will begin classes for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on Tuesday (July 28), even as students allotted seats in the second round continue to confirm their admissions. On Sunday, the university extended the deadline for candidates allotted seats in the second round from Tuesday to Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Delhi University School of Open Learning on Monday announced a one-year postgraduate programme in the Open and Distance Learning mode for graduates of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP). The programme has 1,400 seats. The announcement follows protests by students over the limited number of seats in the one-year postgraduate programmes compared with the larger number of students graduating after the fourth year of the FYUP.
