The second phase of Delhi University’s admission process for undergraduate (UG) programmes will begin on Friday, as per the admission schedule released on Thursday. The window will close on July 11, following which simulated ranks will be declared on the university’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.During this phase, candidates are expected to map their subjects, after which they will be able to view the courses they are eligible for. Applicants will then be able to select their college and programme preferences, subject to meeting the programme-specific eligibility criteria.Simulated ranks will be shared on the portal on Sunday. Candidates will have up to July 13 to reorder their preferences.The first CSAS allocation list will be declared on July 16, following which candidates are expected to accept their respective seats within two days. Once colleges verify and approve the applications, candidates must pay the fees by July 21. “Once the candidates submit their programme fees within a stipulated round, they will get an opportunity to choose the ‘upgrade/freeze’ option. Candidates who choose ‘upgrade’ will be able to reorder their higher preferences within the duration of the round in which the admission was sought,” DU said. Published - July 03, 2026 12:56 am IST
