U.S. stocks traded mixed midway through trading, with the Nasdaq Composite falling more than 100 points on Monday.

The Dow traded up 0.19% to 52,046.85 while the NASDAQ declined 0.48% to 24,855.82.

The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.23% to 7,394.76.

Leading and Lagging Sectors Consumer staples shares jumped by 2% on Monday.

In trading on Monday, information technology stocks fell by 1.9%.
