A U.S. delegation led by U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker visited a Ukrainian National Guard unit and familiarized themselves with the capabilities of Ukrainian unmanned systems.

That is according to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's communications department, Ukrinform reports.

The U.S. delegation also included Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, commander of NATO's Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU), and U.S. Charge d'Affaires in Ukraine Sandra Oudkirk.

During the meeting, National Guard personnel and police officers demonstrated to the visitors the capabilities of unmanned systems performing a wide range of combat and humanitarian tasks, including evacuations from areas under attack.
