More than 20 cars, including several luxury vehicles, and eight autorickshaws were destroyed after a massive fire broke out at a car garage near Bharathiya City on Thanisandra Main Road in north Bengaluru on Monday.According to officials, the fire broke out around 4 a.m. and spread rapidly, engulfing vehicles that had been brought in for minor repairs. Several luxury cars were among those damaged in the blaze.The fire also spread to a neighbouring shed where around eight autorickshaws were parked, reducing them to charred shells. Flames reached a nearby UPVC window manufacturing unit, damaging customer window materials.Multiple fire tenders from the Fire and Emergency Services Department were rushed to the spot and the firefighters put out the fire after two hours. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.Officials of the Fire and Police Department inspected the scene.
