Many people are still trapped after the Sunday night collapse of a three-storey building known as “Elite Five Star Lodge”, housing students of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.
The building is located beside Tonimas Filling Station between Oko and Amaokpala communities, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Several occupants are believed to be trapped beneath the rubble as rescue operations continue.
Tochukwu Ikenga, the spokesperson for the Anambra State Police Command, confirmed
the incident on Monday.
