Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has responded to a statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi concerning an attack on a civilian vessel in the Caspian Sea.
He made the statement on X, Ukrinform reports.
"Iran's threats are unjustified and groundless. The regime in Teheran is a direct accomplice to Russian aggression against Ukraine, fueling Moscow's criminal war with weapons that have killed Ukrainians since 2022," the diplomat said.
Sybiha stressed that Iran has no standing to pretend to be a victim, let alone justify its threats with absurd references to the UN Charter.
