Estonia's capital, Tallinn, claimed the number one spot as Europe's most stress-free destination.

For many travellers, the dream of a European holiday no longer revolves around racing between crowded landmarks, squeezing onto packed trains or standing in endless queues for a photo.

Instead, more people are looking for slower, quieter escapes where they can truly switch off.

A growing travel trend known as the "calmcation" is reflecting that shift. Rather than hectic city breaks, travellers are choosing destinations with cleaner air, more green spaces, quieter streets and a stronger sense of calm.

That trend comes as stress continues to shape how people plan their holidays.
