Ukrainian long-range strikes are forcing Russian society to feel the consequences of the war launched by the Kremlin more acutely, while Russian leader Vladimir Putin fears growing public discontent.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the remarks in an interview with Sky News, Ukrinform reports.
"Putin is afraid of his society, internal challenges and internal questions to him," Zelensky said.
He explained that Ukraine's long-range strikes are causing Russia to lose both revenue and energy resources.
"They began to import energy instead of export. So they lost a lot of money on it," Zelensky stressed.
