The partnership will focus on diagnostics, medical imaging, digital health, biomedical engineering and related healthcare technologies for India and global markets.NEW DELHI: State-run Engineers India Ltd (EIL) will provide technical consultancy services to the Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA) for planning, developing and modernising maritime infrastructure projects under an agreement between the two organisations.The consultancy services will cover engineering, project management, feasibility studies, infrastructure planning, technology integration, capacity enhancement and other technical support for projects undertaken by DGMA.EIL and DGMA, formerly known as the Directorate General of Shipping, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on July 24. DGMA functions under the ministry of ports, shipping and waterways, while EIL is an engineering consultancy and EPC company under the ministry of petroleum and natural gas.According to the official statement, the collaboration will draw on EIL’s experience in hydrocarbon, marine and offshore engineering to support the implementation of maritime infrastructure projects.
