Poochiyammal, 70, residing in Vadakkan Valavu, Soorakkudi near Singampunari in Sivaganga district.As her son and daughter were living in Chennai, she was living with her husband. On Saturday evening, Poochiyammal left home, telling her husband that she was going to a nearby relative’s house.When she did not return home, relatives searched for her. Meanwhile, she was found murdered near a canal on Sunday near the government school.The S.V.
