Antonelli's bid to become the youngest Formula 1 world champion appeared to be rocking after seeing his lead narrow to 25 points, but the 19-year-old is back in control following a near-perfect weekend in Belgium. Not only did the Italian win from pole position to claim his sixth grand prix victory of the season, but teammate and nearest challenger George Russell crashed out in a collision with Lewis Hamilton on the opening lap.
Hamilton, who was able to continue and came home fourth, is now second in the championship, five points ahead of Russell.
