Bronwyn Heslop was killed in Durban North two weeks ago.
On Sunday July 12, a woman was murdered. The paramedics' report states that by the time they arrived on scene in Blackburn Road in Durban North, she had succumbed to her gunshot wounds. Two other people, a young boy and a delivery driver, were also wounded. The woman's funeral took place on Thursday, July 21. The shooter has yet to be arrested. It is alleged that the woman knew her killer.
The woman had a name. Her name was Bronwyn Heslop. She was a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend.
A TikTok page has since been started with the hopes that Heslop's murder will not go unsolved. Condolence messages have been streaming in.
Speaking to IOL, an acquaintance described Heslop as "a kind, caring person, with a big heart.
