On the night of July 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Chornomornaftogaz facility and a ground-based relay station used to control combat drones in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“On the night of July 26, 2026, as part of efforts to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck numerous important military and military-economic targets of the enemy,” the statement reads.
A facility belonging to Chornomornaftogaz in the Vnukove area (Crimea) was struck. The damage to the target was confirmed.
As noted by the General Staff, following the temporary occupation of Crimea, the facilities of the SE Chornomornaftogaz seized by Russia are being used by the occupation administration for the extraction, storage, and transportation of natural gas and petroleum products, as well as to meet the fuel and energy needs of the Russian occupation forces on the peninsula.
