BORDEAUX, 26 LUG - Il vasto incendio che ha devastato la Gironda, nel sud-ovest della Francia, ora minaccia la periferia dell'area metropolitana di Bordeaux: lo rivela la prefettura della Gironda, che rende noto che le fiamme finora hanno distrutto circa 42.000 ettari di terreno e che in totale 220.000 persone sono state evacuate da mercoledì. "Alle 4:00 di questa domenica, 26 luglio, la superficie bruciata stimata è di 42.000 ettari", ha dichiarato la prefettura, aggiungendo che l'autostrada A63 tra Bordeaux e la Spagna è stata chiusa per 60 km. e che dalla notte è corso l'evacuazione di nuove città situate a sud-est o vicino alla città di Bordeaux.
