MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) discussed its ongoing searches for fugitives with its foreign counterparts at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Chiefs of Police (Aseanapol) conference over the past week.

“Everything is being undertaken,” PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said in a press briefing after the conference in Pasay City late Saturday afternoon.

“I’ve talked with the Interpol [International Criminal Police Organization]. I’ve talked with the Europeans who were present during the conference. It was all taken up,” he added, speaking in a mix of Filipino and English, but did not immediately provide details.
